3-headed dragon. Knights of the round table. Evil alien sorceress. When all those collide, you need some pretty epic copy to tell the tale.
When Hasbro dropped the Transformers: The Last Knight toys, I wrote character bios for hundreds of SKUs. With that many toys, each character had to be clearly defined and the lineup as a whole had to fit cohesively with the tone of the movie.
The movie logline and character bios below appeared on Amazon pages for each product.
Logline
The explosive Transformers saga continues with Transformers: The Last Knight where powerful forces rewrite legend. With the fate of Earth at stake, new heroes must rise in an epic struggle to forge a future for all.
Character Bios
INFERNOCUS
In the dark depths of the universe, five Infernocon demons seethe with fiery strength to protect the mysterious sorceress Quintessa. When threats approach, they combine to form a force of infernal fury – Infernocus.
DRAGONSTORM
When colossal foes threaten the universe, Knights of Cybertron Dragonicus and Stormreign rise to become the mighty, fire-breathing Dragonstorm. This sky specter soars into action to protect freedom on Earth and beyond. As a cataclysmic battle looms on the horizon, Dragonstorm wields his ancient and mysterious powers with legendary force.
GRIMLOCK
Superior skill combined with prehistoric power make Grimlock one of the most dominant warriors alive. This Dinobot commands respect by defending Earth alongside Optimus Prime. The steel-crushing jaws of Grimlock could be just what the Autobots need to rip through a foe who threatens to destroy life as we know it.
OPTIMUS PRIME
